Kumihimo, “gathered threads” is an ancient Japanese braiding technique traditionally woven with silk cord and employed when making ones Kimono sash. In this class we will incorporate shaped beads to make a lovely woven beaded bracelet. Pictured is a sample using Pip beads, but students will have a choice of project samples from which to work.
